This recording was made only a day before the release of their influential 1970 LP Fun House, and was restored by Vance Powell, who has worked with The White Stripes and Chris Stapleton and mastered by Bill Skibbe at Third Man Mastering.
According to a press release, this monumental recording is also the only known soundboard recording of the band’s original lineup, which consisted of lead vocalist Iggy Pop, guitarist Ron Asheton, drummer Scott Asheton and bassist Dave Alexander.
