Cypress Hill is the self-titled debut studio album by American hip hop group Cypress Hill, released in August 13, 1991 on Ruffhouse Records and Columbia Records. Recording sessions for the album were held at Image Recording Studios in Los Angeles from August 1990 to May 1991. The majority of the production was handled by DJ Muggs.

The album peaked at #31 on the Billboard 200, #4 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and #5 on the Top Heatseekers chart in the United States. Cypress Hill released the singles: "How I Could Just Kill a Man", "Latin Lingo", "Hand on the Pump", "The Phuncky Feel One", "Real Estate" and "Stoned Is the Way of the Walk". The album was critically and commercially successful proving to be a major success for the group. The album was later certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for over 2 million units sold in the U.S.. In 1998, it was selected by The Source magazine as one of the 100 Best Albums.
