Older is the third studio album and major-label debut of American singer-songwriter Lizzy McAlpine, released by RCA Records on April 5, 2024.
In early 2023, McAlpine spoke about the record in an interview with The Washington Post as "a project she hopes will be a more raw reflection. Mistakes in the recording studio may end up on the final cut." In Rolling Stone, McAlpine stated this album is much closer to what she "actually sounds like as an artist" compared to her three previous projects, and that it was inspired by seventies singer-songwriters, as well as Elliott Smith & Andy Shauf.
McAlpine maintains her recurrent use of time-related album titles, making her album list the following: Give Me A Minute, five seconds flat, and now Older. This motif establishes a connection to her past works and directs the album and her future creations.
