DESCRIPTION:

5LPs (most unissued) and a well researched, 100 page book (with lots of photos).

Peter Laughner died in 1977 but his legend grows stronger each year. His Cleveland band, Rocket From The Tombs, were the proto-punk band that included various later members of the Dead Boys and Pere Ubu (Peter was an early member). The box set is a fascinating collection of Laughner originals, a bunch of Lou Reed covers (Laughner's biggest influence), Television/Hell covers and a lot more. The recordings have been carefully restored/mastered.
