A deep dive in to the lesser known places of instrumental music. Singles: Old World Monkeys and Monoliths are a mature take on the bands classic heavy funk sound that has seen them become stalwarts on the Melbourne music scene over the last 13 years. Meanwhile, the band stretches out on the long-form instrumental tracks A Free Blowing Wind and A Cosmic Scale, taking listeners on a meandering journey from deep psychedelic grooves, to lush plateaus and onwards to aggressive fuzz rock.
